The Silky Sugoi, nicknamed by arborists as “The Tree Tiger” due to its super-fast cutting teeth and yellow-orange tiger stripes on the rubber handle. Ideal for pruning large limbs and assisting on larger removals. With a knife blade hook on the saw tip it will prevent you from ever slipping out of a cut again!
The Sugoi is a genuine alternative to a small chainsaw – your neighbours will agree that it is more peaceful. You will notice there are no fuel and oil costs, it works every time you get it out and is much more rewarding!
Find out why people are falling in love with the new Sugoi 33cm saw!
The Silky Sugoi Curved Handsaw is a heavy-duty, long curved hand saw. Silky uses new technology, combining alloy and steel in the design of the blade, thereby making the blade very strong while retaining flexibility.
A new tooth style, cut with a special blade leaves a mirror-smooth finish on the teeth. This reduces friction and is part of the reason why this saw is so incredibly fast and easy to use. An amazing saw that is designed to cut medium to large branches.
The teeth are sharpenable. The blades are hollow ground as a result they reduce friction and increase the ease of cutting action and speed. The teeth are non-set and have a Mirai-Me design which creates a very smooth surface once timber is cut. The blades are coated in nickel to reduce rust and protect the blade.
The handle is made from Silky’s special GOM material, as a result, you get a superior grip and will notice a reduction in vibrations. The scabbards come with leg straps.
The Silky Sugoi Curved Handsaw is a PULL saw as a result all cutting occurs on the pull stroke. Place minimal pressure as you pull the blade toward yourself and then glide the saw forward. On the forward stroke, the teeth will clear sawdust and shavings, and then on the pull stroke, the saw will do the cutting again.
All parts of the saws are replaceable. The Sugoi comes with a scabbard that also has replaceable parts.
The Silky Sugoi is available in three blade lengths
