LION SABATIER ABS SERIES knives are still made in France by French craftsmen using traditional methods. The blade is fully forged from the high quality blade steel, X50CrMoV15. This alloy gives superior edge retention, strength, wear and corrosion resistance. The handles are made from ABS, a super tough, rigid and wear resistant plastic. They are attached to the full tang blade with distinctive large brass rivets.
