Roselli's first knife model, manufactured since 1976, and very popular among hunters and campers, the Hunting Knife can be easily used for whittling, cutting or for handling fish or game. The blade is manufactured from forged carbon steel and the handle is made from birch, coated with linseed oil. The wooden handle and the coating ensure that the user gets a firm grip, which won't slip even when wet. The Hunting Knife is delivered with a handcrafted sheath made from tanned leather.
All Roselli knives are handmade in Finland and come with natural birch wood handles that vary in tone and grain. Each one is unique! Carbon steel blade - care notes below.

Carbon steel blade care: carbon steel knives require extra care to prevent rusting and oxidisation of the surface. These knives should not be placed in a dishwasher or allowed to soak in water. After use we recommend cleaning the blade with a damp sponge or cloth and dry thoroughly, and apply a light coating of vegetable oil to the blade’s surface. If your blade shows signs of rust, use some steel wool to remove it and then apply some oil to the blade. To keep the blade razor sharp, use a honing, or sharpening, steel. After some use, the steel blade will develop a patina, a darkening which is desirable and an indication of its age.
Roselli knives are made in Harmoinen, Finland at the workshop founded by blade-smith Heimo Roselli. A self-taught smith, Heimo started forging in 1974 and since 1976 he has been making knives full time. Roselli makes simple, unique and great looking knives using carbon steel blades, birch handles and leather sheaths.
