Discreet in its name - sovereign in its appearance. The Boker TRPPR (pronounced: trapper) is an exceptional gentleman's knife that conveys the spirit of the successful Boker Trapper into a new era. Although reduced to the essentials, the pocket-knife leaves nothing to be desired. The ball bearing blade of powder metallurgical MagnaCut (62-63 HRC) opens silky smooth via a flipper, while the elegant integral frame lock with an overtravel stop reliably secures the knife. The blade steel used is characterised above all by high resistance to wear and tear, high toughness and high corrosion resistance and is rounded off by an attractive two-tone finish. The long bolster of the titanium handle body reinterprets the nostalgic spirit of the times and shapes the TRPPR with its green micarta handle scales into a new model of contemporary knife culture. Decorative accents are set by the front blade axle screw, which uses the famous Boker tree emblem, and the titanium clip (tip-up/r) milled from the solid with a ball. The Boker TRPPR Micarta is supplied with a quality felt case. Handmade in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen.

The history of Boker can be traced back to the 17th Century. By the 1800s the German tool maker was producing swords and other blades for use in various European wars. In the 1860s the company had split, with part of the family emigrating and setting up factories in America. The German and American factories produced similar products, and both used the “Tree Brand” logo, representing the giant chestnut tree that was at the front of the original Boker factory in Remscheid, Germany in the 17th Century.
