The beauty of duty - conscientious, reliable and always light-footedly tactical. The Boker TDK (Tactical Duty Knife) is a go-getter with a clear commitment to dedication. The efficiency of the TDK is emphasised by its satin finished, ball bearing blade of powder metallurgical CPM MagnaCut (61-62 HRC), with its tactical tanto shape with two-part grind, attractive ricasso and high strength tip convincing all the way along the line, from precise to difficult cutting work. The blade steel stands for maximum stability and outstanding cutting properties and at the same time, provides edge retention, hardness, corrosion resistance and toughness - uncompromising performance! The pocket knife is opened by the teardrop shaped thumb hole, which is also equipped with non-slip jimpings on the thumb ramp for safe handling. The crossbar lock slider secures the blade and is beautifully embedded in the ergonomic handle of glass fibre reinforced nylon (GFN), which combines high strength with low weight. The fingerprint-like texture of the handle scales, which harmonises with the design language of the crossbar lock, pivot screw, lanyard hole and the reversible tip-up clip, provides an extra touch and feel. The Boker TDK is delivered in a quality felt case. Handmade in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen.

The history of Boker can be traced back to the 17th century. In the 1800’s the German tool maker was producing swords and other blades for use in the various wars that were going on in Europe at the time. In the1860’s the company had split with part of the family emigrating and setting up factories in America. The German and American factories produced similar products. Both used the “Tree Brand” logo. The “Tree Brand” logo represents the giant chestnut tree that was at the front of the original Boker factory in Remscheid, Germany in the 17th century.
